A Slice of Heaven

You don’t need sight to experience absolute paradise. Bermuda welcomed me not through my eyes, but through my soul with the touch of warm sand, the taste of decadent cuisine, the scent of blooming Gardenias, and the sound of waves crashing. Every moment has been true bliss; as well, a reminder that beauty isn’t only something you necessarily see, but rather what you experience.

The Touch of Paradise:

There’s nothing quite like the feel of Bermuda’s pink sand beneath your feet. It’s soft like powdered sugar near the shore and like packed brown sugar the closer you get to the ocean. Joyfully splashing In the ocean, the waves wrap and swirl around me as if the waves were giving me a cuddly hug. Jumping off the diving board was a giant leap of faith- scary and exhilarating al at once.  Hot tubbing in the rain was another unforgettable moment. The combination of cool air mixed with the gentle pitter patter of rain drops sprinkling on my skin as I sat amongst hot steam was the perfect calming experience.  Quiet mornings in the gazebo have been my Zen. The gazebo is my absolute most favorite spot- I just sit back and take in God’s magnificent creation. From feeling the ocean mist gently spritzing my face to listening to to the serene waves and taking in the beautiful scenery of ocean views, the gazebo is simply peaceful. Whehte kayaking with my sister or playing barefoot croquet, I have experienced paradise with every inch of my being.

The Taste of Bliss:

Let’s talk about the food because wow! Every bite in Bermuda has been unforgettable.  From sipping Dark 'n Stormies to luxurious lobster and velvety tiramisu, I have tasted the island’s flavors with joy. Each meal has been pure decadence and this foodie is in Heaven.

The Scent and Sound of Serenity:

The smell of Bermuda is just as magical as it feels.The crisp ocean air fills my lungs with freshness, while blooming Gardenias perfume the air with sweetness. Now close your eyes and just listen. You’ll hear the island sing. Tree frogs chirp in the night and mornings are filled with sweet, soft hums of the birds. And, always there is the tranquil drumroll of waves crashing in and out of shore creating nature’s most peaceful concert.

A Few of my Favorites:

Bermuda is full of beauty and is the perfect place to make memories to last a lifetime. Some of my favorite Bermuda memories include: early mornings watching the sunrise, soaking up God’s beautiful creation, or bouncing in the waves with my family, to playing Marco Polo in the pool like I’m a kid again, dreamy dinners, spectacular sunsets, and laying under the stars with family. contagious laughter, every minute has become a special moment etched in my memory.

Bermuda has been more than just a vacation, It has gifted me presence, peace, and pure happiness. Don’t pinch me, I might still be dreaming. But if this is a dream, I never want to wake up. Bermuda is the most spectacular place on Earth.
