Bud Light in hand, Thunder shirt on, and I’m getting hyped — it’s time for OKC to get the W! Attending an OKC Thunder game is such a fun experience. The atmosphere is electric, and the energy in the arena is something you can feel. I really can’t see the game at all. There is a big screen that I can semi-sort of see, so I can tell there is movement and color, but the fast pace of a basketball game is a challenge for my eyes. Thanks to my parents keeping me in the loop with the score and big moments, I’m still able to stay in the game. That’s where my other senses come in. I use them to take it all in- the roar of the crowd, the music, the rowdy Thunder fans, and the energy all around me. The smells of buttery popcorn and that delicious sugary shell of freshly fried funnel cakes filled the arena. Between the chants, cheering, music, and the energy of the crowd, the whole atmosphere was hype. You could feel the tension of a must-win playoff game in the arena, and by the end, the excitement was a whole vibe. Fans were chanting and cheering as we exited, and OKC fans are rowdy in the best way possible, I love it. You don’t have to fully see the game to experience the magic of an NBA playoff atmosphere.

Now it’s time to go back-to-back and bring home another championship. Thunder up! 💙🧡
